Lake Havasu Homes, Arizona Lake Resort Town

Lake Havasu Arizona Homes

Plenty to do with the best of all worlds

Lake Havasu is the home of the Famous London Bridge all the way from England. One of the worlds largest antiques ever bought or sold. The city is located on the Colorado River bordering California and nieghbor to Nevada. Miles of blue water make Lake Havasu a world class destination resort town. 45 Min. to the casinos of Laughlin or 2 1/2 hours to Las Vegas(We're just close enough to have fun & not lose your shirt. The lake has great fishing, water skiing, Great restaurants accessable by boat from Parker Dam all the way up to Laughlin. There are some great things to see out there. Come visit some time!

One of Three Golf Courses

Golf at one of three golf courses in town.

One of the Best Vacation and Retirement areas in Arizona

Great Equestrian Trails All Through the Hills

There are several equestrian areas throughout the city of Lake Havasu. This is my son at the Lake Havasu Equestrian Center on the north side of town. There are off road & trail maps available at the chamber offices.

Great riding, hiking and quad trails everywhere

Check out the mountain trails, winter waterfalls, and the desert bar. The desert bar is a bar in the desert! It can only be accessed by 4X4 or horse and has hiking, caves, bar & grill. Most locals know it is only open in the winter months and can be a lot of fun for the whole family. Please drive safe on your way home.

The Rodeo in Lake Havasu practise day

Yep, more rodeo stuff! Don't miss Delbert Days for the Kid's Annual Rodeo. There are also car races, Outrageous Firework Association, and regular events are often added at Sara Park South of Lake Havasu.

Street fairs for the whole Family!

About three times a year the whole block of the old business district on McCuloch Blvd is closed off for street block parties. This is the Snowbird Jamboree. There are shops, venders, Food, Bands, Beer gardens, all kinds of stuff!
Yea, more horses. That's me with the silly hat on. Don't get me wrong, I love to boat and fish, but only on the week days during lunch hour. The town is only 14 miles across, so on a bad day, I just go fishing for lunch! ( nice sized largemouth out there now!)

Here is a picture of the Lake Havasu Marina from Rotary Park

A lot of family fun on the Lake and in the Channel. On a Good day you can Boat on up river to Laughlin Casinos, or down to the Parker Dam. There are a lot of private coves, camp sites, State Parks and restaurants everywhere.

New University, Marina, Golfcourse, and Lakeside Homes

This is the Proposed Map of the New 4 Year College, Marina, Boat Launch, 56 Acre Golfcourse And New Lakeside homes and shopping center. This map is courtesy of the Lake Havasu News Hearld as published in September. The Project is moving faster than the Lake Havasu for Higher Education Group expected thanks largely to BLM, Forward looking Residents and City Council Members. The New Marina is long past overdue. The City Golfcourse comes from the need of a place to use massive amounts of reclaimed water from the new sewage treatment plant. The University has been sought after for quite a while now and the land grant from BLM Makes it all possible.

People getting ready for the Big Fireworks Show

A lot of us avoid the crowds and watch the fireeworks on the Island from our Backyard Pools.

Like I said there is a lot to do here!

The Bridge and Channel 2 days after the crowds

This is the local's favorite day of the week. That's why we work on the week-ends.

The Dixie Bell paddle boat tours around the Island.

This is one of the first things I did after I moved here. The kids were little and still have happy memories of the tour of Havasu. It's about $18 and $9 for kids there is a bar aboard with sodas, water and beer.
